New project – Quay Club, Canary Wharf

Following our successful application to become an approved supplier with the Canary Wharf Contractors Ltd, we are delighted to have secured a new project working on the Quay Club site with Lindner Facades Limited at Canary Wharf in London.  The five-storey private members’ club will be situated on a pontoon overlooking Bank Street and is due to open in late 2020. The RF Fixing 20 strong team will be fulfilling the highly bespoke specification including; Unitised curtain walling, Vietnamese marble white cladding, mirrored soffit stainless steel, Curtain walling stick works, balustrades and doors. Investment in training is imperative for workplace safety. Enabling your workforce with the knowledge and skills to work in an effective and safe manner is good for the individual, team and business. Over the last 3 months we have continued to expand our training record, with our external Health & Safety consultant from Protectus Consulting Limited, having successfully delivered courses to some of our operatives in Behavioural training and Housekeeping training.

New cutting station

Our new Armorgard cutting station is proving its worth at our 250 City Road project. The mullti-purpose mobile cutting station, with its exceptional safety features minimising vibration, sparks, noise and dust, is essential for safe cutting on site. The expandable working area complete with mitre saws and cutaway sides for handling longer lengths, eliminates the need for a separate cutting room. The heavy-duty rubberized all swivel wheels enable us to easily manoeuvre the station to wherever we next need it on the project site, and is proving to be a hit with the team!
