Westmont is a new residential plot within the White City Living scheme being developed by the St James’ arm of the Berkley group. The project is nestled in the heart of White City overlooking the iconic BBC studios.
Appointed by Byldis, RF Fixing Ltd has been commissioned to carry out an array of different works across their Façade and Pre-cast divisions.
Once complete, the residential scheme will stand out with two striking towers emerging from a long curving plot and include a rooftop beach club encased within glass balustrades to be installed by RFF.
Now in the middle of the construction phase, the RF team is working hard to execute the following façade systems.
- Siderise Firestop installation – vertical and horizontal.
- Column and internal insulation to all pre-cast facades.
- Window and door frames installation.
- Penthouse frame installation.
- Glass privacy screens.
- Glass and aluminium balustrades and adjoining coping works.
- Curtain walling.
The team has planned and worked to overcome challenging access areas, an example of this is the collaboration with Byldis and suppliers to develop bespoke Cantilevered Scaffolding platforms to enable safe working access to the face of sheer walls and columns.
