Principal Tower is a landmark 50 storey residential luxury building within the Principal Place complex located in Bishopsgate, London from contractor Brookfield Multiplex. Providing a total of 273 apartments, and standing at 175 metres, Principal Tower designed by Foster + Partners will be one of London’s tallest residential buildings.
RF Fixing began works on the ground and 1st floor commercials of the Tower for Lindner Facades Ltd in March 2018. The project includes the following:
- Element Installations
- Raico steelworks
- Doors
The RF Fixing team includes one of our experienced RF Fixing project managers, lift supervisor, QA supervisor, slinger signallers, fixers and installers. All our operatives are highly skilled and proficient in the use of cranes and trained to IPAF standard. For this project we are using a combination of a tower crane, mini-crane, scissor lift, cherry picker and counterbalance beam to successfully install the large 1.5 tonne elements.
The project has progressed well and is on-track with the team having earlier conducted night cranage work in conjunction with Railtrack to ensure minimum impact on the nearby Hammersmith and City line.
As of February 2019, we have a small works completion team on site putting the final touches to the project, some minor snags and few glass replacements to complete.
